The Association DANZARTE Genoa was created in 2001 with the following objectives:
- Promote the spread of contemporary dance throughout the Ligurian region of Italy
- Create professional level dance courses, preparing young talented dancers for the professional dance world
- Establish a stable dance company
- Produce dance productions
Thanks to the tenacious passion of its president Maria Grazia Sulpizi, soloist with the dance company of Teatro di Torino directed by Loredana Furno, prima ballerina with the Sisina Augusta dance company of Verona, Soloist at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Arena of Verona, Arena Sferisterio of Macerata, Teatro Regio of Parma and Teatro Carlo Felice of Genoa and assistent to Larrio Ekson at l'Ecole Nationale Superieure de Danse de Marseille Roland Petit.Since the association was first created in collaboration with the cultural center Mojud, an establishment that gave its support to the project, we have trained professional dancers that are now continuing their work at:

The company DIABASIS BALLET was created in 2003, and from its first performance in August 2003, it has received favorable responses from audiences and critics, confirmed over the course of the years by national and international awards including the Jose Manuel Garrido Award received in June of 2008 at the Teatro di Madrid in Spain.
The Association has produced 8 productions from 2003 to the present and has collaborated with actors, musicians and photography exhibits. We organize Classical/Modern/Character/Floor Barre courses and choreography workshops at the Centro Culturale Mojud and la Scuola Dance Mission in Genoa, Italy. In addition, we offer preparation for competitions and auditions.
